In collaboration with the Asian Public Administration Forum (APAF), the Korean Association for Public Administration (KAPA) will hold its annual meeting at University of Incheon Song-do campus from October 22 to October 24, 2009. It will provide a timely opportunity for participants to explore a new research paradigm for public administration in Asia based on the region¡¯s unique history and culture and to shape new governance initiatives in response to contemporary policy challenges. The KAPA is the largest professional association of public policy experts in South Korea. A key part of KAPA¡¯s mission is to enable public policy experts to connect an environment conducive to teaching, research, and practice in all fields of public administration and to ensure support crucial for the discipline to prosper. Based in Seoul, Korea, the APAF serves as a gathering place for scholars, administrators, NGO activists, and policy-makers in Asian countries.
