In collaboration with the Asian Public Administration Forum (APAF), the Korean Association for Public Administration (KAPA) will hold its annual meeting at University of Incheon  Song-do campus from October 22 to October 24, 2009.  It will provide a timely opportunity for participants to explore a new research paradigm for public administration in Asia based on the region¡¯s unique history and culture and to shape new governance initiatives in response to contemporary policy challenges.  The KAPA is the largest professional association of public policy experts in South Korea.  A key part of KAPA¡¯s mission is to enable public policy experts to connect an environment conducive to teaching, research, and practice in all fields of public administration and to ensure support crucial for the discipline to prosper.  Based in Seoul, Korea, the APAF serves as a gathering place for scholars, administrators, NGO activists, and policy-makers in Asian countries.  Should you wish to attend to the 2009 KAPA/APAF international conference, please complete and return the attached form at your earliest convenience.  Furthermore, if you feel this conference would be relevant to any of your colleagues, we would greatly appreciate it if you would be so kind as to extend this invitation to them.  Should you have any questions then please do not hesitate to contact us.
